ARB Compressor Install Question

OK. Another question that will be very easy for most of you. However, since I'm a complete electrical noob, here goes. I just got an ARB Compressor that will be used for tire inflation only. I've got it mounted and I'm now down to the electrical connection. There is one section in the directions that says to hook the positive and negative cables directly to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Then, there's another section that says to connect it to a fuse that is not a constant on circuit. Which one is correct? I've got a 2004 Rubicon.

IIRC, my ARB had a main power, and an sux power or switched power as well. If that is the case - large power wire to main power then the smaller power wire to switched power.
When I connected mine, I had lockers and the fill port. I had to have power on, to use either portion. One locker had to be engaged before the other would work.

Both. One provides power to the compressor. One keeps it from being turned on unless the ignition is turned on. They are color coded and the ones that go to the battery are the large ones
