Center console

Just wondering if anyone has any pics or plans on building a center console with auto trans. I have searched the interweb and don't really see anything that works. I'm not buying the $400 dollar one and I like to build stuff. If it weren't for the E brake in a shitty spot it would be super easy lol.

What do you need it for? If just for storage, there are many threads on diy consoles from military style ammo cans. The cans are pretty cheap and plenty stout. Have seen them set up with locks, power outlets, etc.

Uh plenty of people run those Tuffy consoles don't they? Even @Jerry Bransford has one I believe.

Yes but he specifically said he wasn't interested in that expensive of a console. That's why I didn't suggest a Tuffy like I recently installed.

Do you use facebook? "Jeep Wrangler TJ Parts buy/sell/trade" post what you want, I got mine for $155 for the full console with the double cup holder.

Ok after my bitchin and whining and makin a mess of trying to make a console, the Wife got pissed and ordered me the Tuffy console. I love her.

Ha, I do this! I either tell my husband to just buy it himself or will go get it form him if he talks about something long enough. He has been talking about a specific watch for YEARS and recently he was again asking well should I get it? Yes!! Geeze, just get it already and stop pining after it! The Xbox, too. On that one, I'd been listening to him for a long time ask over and over if we needed one. I finally was just like get in the car... we are going to buy an Xbox! He gave me a blank look for a second, then got in the car.
