One of my co-workers...
Always talking about what he would have done and how bad assed he would have been. Once he said his wife (girlfriend at the time) wouldn’t let him join the military, it was all over.

My favorite are the "I would've joined but I would've fought the drill instructor. I have a problem with authority"...
Thats fair but no body breaks more shit or reports "random machine failures" like third shift. If its going to break, it's going to happen on third shift.
When I was active duty Air Force, we had 2 shifts, days worked 8 hours and nights worked 12 or more...
Ouch. My experiences refer to manufacturing shifts. Our company installed an automated system at a plant in Virginia. Whenever there was an issue, it was third shift.
Yep, in the Navy day check works until night shift comes in. Nights work until all the airplanes are fixed.

I've seen this floating around for years now and am always interested in reading the comments that people make. Yes we as a country have made mistakes and wrong choices over the years. And while I don't agree sometimes with the actions our country has taken with it's military I still would never bad mouth our country.
