Rubicon locker pump photo request

Hey Guys and Gals! I need a little help. Could someone with a Rubi sent me a picture of where the locker pumps are mounted under the Jeep?

I'm installing a Rubi Dana 44 and I have the stock bracket and pumps, but I don't know where they go. And since my rig is an '02, there's nothing under the Jeep to give me any hints.

They're located on the transfer case skid plate. I don't have a pic right now. There should be some on the forums. If not I can post a couple when I get home

They're located on the transfer case skid plate. I don't have a pic right now. There should be some on the forums. If not I can post a couple when I get home

Dont have a photo at this moment But it is on the transfer case skid plate back driver side. Mine is visible from the rear driverside of the skid plate.. Basically mounted a half inch from the edge and an inch or so from the frame.

Thanks Josh. I looked around and found some folks saying where they're located, but I haven't found a photo yet. Trying to duplicate the stock location.

Mount them where you want. There is a nice big open tray in the engine bay where the ABS is usually located.

Mount them where you want. There is a nice big open tray in the engine bay where the ABS is usually located.

Interesting way to mount your pumps. Since I'm only running the rear locker with it, I want it closer to the rear of the Jeep.

The skid changed from '02 to '03, so yours no doubt does not have the factory provision for the pump bracket. But if the skid is where you really want to mount it, I think basically you just need 4 holes in the skid to bolt the bracket into.

Since your setup is not stock, no reason to put it in the stock location. Mounting it under the hood, as many do, keeps it much more protected on the trail. The extra couple of feet of hose at such a low pressure is a non-issue.

There's no real reason to put them where Jeep did unless you want it to be like stock. Just run them wherever they make sense. I mounted mine inside the ABS tray support (to do this you'll want a right angle drill). It kind of sucked. However I have to move them again when I hiline anyway.
