Do you keep extra fluids stored in your Jeep?

Hey guys! As you know all too well, every inch of interior storage of a wrangler is precious territory. Right now I’m trying to find a better way to make all of my tools and recovery gear fit, and I don’t know if I’m carrying stuff I don’t need.
For example, I keep a thing of antifreeze in the tool box I keep in the Jeep. I haven’t overheated in years, so it feels a little silly to keep it with me all the time. That being said, when I did overheat a couple of years ago, I was pretty much screwed.
I’m curious on what your thoughts are, what you do, and if you have any advice.

Yes. I keep them in my fake gas can on my tire carrier. 1 can is real the other is storage. Works for me.

Yes i carry extra fluids usually in a gallon ziplock bag under rear seat (if open) just shoved under if not

If you overheat its no big deal to put water in the system temporarily.
I carried around 4 litres of oil and a litre of coolant for the first 8 months but I haven't needed a top up of either in 2 oil changes so they are now in the shed.

I carried a half gallon of coolant in a milk jug under the hood near the abs tray. Came out one morning and found coolant on the ground thinking my radiator had blown but it was just the milk jug leaking.

No extra fluids, I never drive the TJ far enough that I can’t just handle a situation if it arises.

I used to bring a gallon of water when I went wheeling, more for cleaning up mud than anything else, but then it sprang a leak and soaked all my tools and recovery gear. Gotta rethink this one.

Sadly where I live, fifteen minutes outta town thirty minutes from a big city, there’s a gas station/convenience store on every corner. So it’s not too far a walk or phone call for help. When I drove to California for a post retirement vacation it seems the gas stations along the way were few and far between. It all depends on how far help is, and how much walking you are up to.

I only carry things I can actually use. 3 gallons of water. A can of 3 in one. I’m no mechanic, so I also limit my tool bag to tools for things I can actually fix. I need all the weight reduction I can get

I carry water for me, and can share with the jeep if it needs it more than I do.

First, I have an LJ, so there is more room for stuff in the back. Second, I use old, plastic milk crates. Third, I only carry stuff when I go to the National Seashore on Padre Island. I take a strap, come-along, pre-mixed anti-freeze, oil, CB radio, hatchet, fire starting sticks, drinking water, UV cream, two blankets, small tool box with usual stuff, first aid kit, and jumper cables. It all fits into two milk crates that sit behind the back seat.

That's what I said until a few months ago.

Fluids-wise, I carry several bottles of ATF+4, a couple bottles of a GL-5 gear lube, and a quart of engine oil. The ATF+4 has come in very handy over the 20 years I've been carrying it, only once for me, the others for trail situations. And usually a gallon of distilled water in case of a cooling system problem. I have needed and used them all on the trail over the years.

Plenty of water for either my or the jeeps use. On a trip I throw in what I have for fluids to hopefully get me off the trail if needed.

I have two "tall" 50cal cans that I have for fluids and spare parts. The tall cans are good for most fluid bottles. I have some ATF (ps and trans in a pinch), gear oil, brake fluid and 2qts of engine oil. Plus a funnel and a bunch of blue shop towels to dampen the ride and for clean up.

The other can has U joints, cap straps, pinion yokes, elec connectors, etc..
