Anyone running Baja Boss M/T tires?

Been wheeling the BBs since spring. Wheeled them today in the dust. They're a pretty solid tire. Not a lot to complain about. I drive them onroad a decent bit. They're louder than my milestars were. They wouldn't balance with beads, tape weights and static balance quieted them down. Off road traction is great. STT pros seem to be about equal in performance. Guy with us today had them.

Did your tires take a ton of weight to balance? My love/hate relationship with Mickey Thompson/Cooper tires has to do with getting a set that doesn't take a ton of weight to balance.
I went through numerous sets of tires with my last 2 sets of tires (MTZ and ST MAXX) before I had a set of 4 that would balance with an acceptable amount of weight.

Yes, I recently slit a MTR but when you put your tires into rocks like I do it is eventually going to happen. I wouldn't hesitate to buy MTRs again for off-road. My neighbor has the Baja Boss's and he goes everywhere I go up until 4:30pm, after 4:30 he is heading back to camp because he swears nothing good ever happens after 4:30.

Don’t get me wrong, wasn’t knocking MTR’s at all I’ve seen them take you wherever you wanted to go.

Just pointing out they aren’t magically indestructible.

Since 4wp couldn't get me a warranty MTR (due to Covid supply chain issues), I am now running 3 MTR's and a MT PZ3. After 2 wheeling trips I can't tell a single difference with the odd tire installed and the TJ on 35's still hung with the big boys

Yeah, my MTR’s were supposed to be a week out, two months ago. No idea when I’ll get them.

I bought a set last month size 37x12.50-17. Only one wheeling trip so far. Was wheeling on some slick granite rock. They out preformed my old MTR’s..but they were pretty old and dry.
I have no weights or beads and have no complaints on highway driving. I feel they drive pretty smooth. So far I like them. I love the look…that’s what initially sold me.
