I'm using stock springs with a polyurethane spring spacer with the factory spring isolator for a total of 1.25 inch lift on the front. Do you leave the isolator on top, or the poly on top and the isolator against the spring?

It is a teraflex brand. It goes spacer-isolator-spring. I just rearranged it thankfully before tightening up the drag link. The spacer wasn't even fully seated properly the other way around. I need to stop working on the jeep past 9pm!
Man I had a hard time getting the springs in with 1.25 lift, it's looking like I may have to just use the spacer by itself as that seems to be the only way to get the springs back in without using a compressor. I have the bumpstop jounce and cup out and the axle all the way jacked on the other side by the steering knuckle.
Edit: I also have my drag link and steering stabilizer disconnected just to clarify. Along with shocks track bar sway bar etc. brake are off axle breather tube is also out.

It will go in..try having a helper push down on the axle and "thread" the spring into place as close as you can. You can then use a pry bar on the bottom to force the spring into place.
Just fyi I have installed spacers with insulators on stock springs before with no compressor necessary..you can do it
You can unbolt your track bar to make it easier but as above, I too have installed all of my springs without the use of a spring compressor. With taller springs I just unbolted the track bar to help it droop down a little more.
I think I will give it a shot and have someone push on the axle. I've been trying to avoid making contact too much with the perch as I just painted everything but I guess I'm just going to have to scratch it up.
My track bar bushing was bad so at this point it's completely out of the jeep, the only thing left holding the axle in place are the control arms and drive shaft. I do wonder considering the level of difficulty I'm having how I would get 3 inch lift springs in.
I have installed up to 5.5" tall springs plus my current 4" springs without using a spring compressor. You're supporting the TJ via jack stands under the frame so the axles can droop fully right?
5.5 inches damn that is quite tall. Yes, the frame is on jack stands and the axle I let it fully droop until it couldn't anymore, still I had to jack up the steering knuckles after to get the springs out. I raised each opposite end of the axle as much as I felt it could go without lifting the rest of the jeep up.
I got it in, I guess I just had to scratch up my perch a bit, oh well.
