I purchased a 2005 TJ Unlimited from someone who just didn't have time to fix it. Ignition tumbler was busted. Replaced it and had keys programmed then realized ignition housing was busted. Replaced the entire steering column, new starter switch and new actuator pin. Put on a new starter and a new battery as well. Still won't start. Turn the key and get power all around but no engine turn over. I have no clue what to try next. Really looking for some suggestions please. I'm frustrated.

I did get it to start once before installing new steering column, but wouldn't start a second time. And hasn't started since.
It does have skim. I had a locksmith come out and program them and it started once after. The keys are light Grey and rounded like the previous keys.

Bridging the solenoid is an old trick and the first thing for some of us to do on any non starter.
Even if your Bendix throws out without starting you can eliminate the battery and starter, if it starts you can eliminate the solenoid and its an electrical contact or other wiring/ignition switch problem.

Just once? What other changes or things did you try after that one time it started?
We replaced the starter, starter switch, actuator pin after, then it started one time and has not even cranked one time since. We then replaced the steering column thinking it was due to the broken ignition housing, but still nada.
So used a screwdriver to connect the two large posts on the starter and it spun like a drill but never cranked. Not sure if I did that correctly. Feel like it may be the wire coming from the ignition switch at this point, but still unsure.
Update- I replaced the connector for the ignition switch that connects to the starter and boom!!! She's running!! So thrilled!
For future reference you didn't. You only bridge the cable from the battery, the big one, to the small terminal. You directly hot wired the motor but bypassed the solenoid so the gear didn't engage. It is pretty common for people to screw that up, I should have described it in more detail. Great to hear you got it back up and running.
