I live in Houston and pre-staged my raptor on high ground. I used the lifted jeep to get out and get groceries before water got too high. Ultimately we Needed to be rescued by boat which was a humbling experience. Harvey was a water event. I assume since you have oaks you aren't in the storm surge area. I lived through Ike which was a wind event and having a generator, fuel, and a chainsaw were huge. Everyone focuses on bottled water for some reason but we just bought a case then filled all containers we could find. Put some on fridge. Some in freezer. A full freezer lasts longer when it loses power. Don't underestimate this thing. Think through some plans for various situations and be ready. Good luck to you!
