Ive tried to be diligent about the car cover. But some days it just doesn't get put on. My advice is to not run these in the sun. If at all possible.
Wonder if this will work on my Bartact Cordura nylon seat covers. Bartact doesn't give you a 3 year fade resistant warranty on these type of covers
Good UV protected auto upholstery should last 20+ years or more.Direct sun fades fabrics? Who knew?

I was going to ask this question. Its to late for my back seat. But i would definitely give 303 a try on my fronts and a replacement back seat cover.
Many fabrics come with UV protection. And yes, I'm not surprised that a $150 seat cover set faded in the sun. But given the high quality of the fabric used by Caltrends. And it is really nice backpack type fabric. I was surprised at how quickly it faded. This is the Duromax(?) fabric. The heavier fabric offered by Caltrends.Direct sun fades fabrics? Who knew?

Just for kicks have you brought it up to Caltrend in a friendly manner. I would be interested to see what their response would be.
Which Caltrend are these? I have the Duraplus on order. If so, what are your thoughts so far (other than the fading of course...)
They are excellent. Really hardcore but comfortable backpack type material. Good fit. I cant say enough good stuff about them. And i never see myself spending more than $200 on seat covers.
For $150 i wouldnt waste my time calling. But i hear what your saying. I doubt they were ever intended to be uv resistant.
I hear you. I have them in my Jeep but haven't noticed the fading after a year. My sides are off and my top stays up plus I live in the shade. Even if they do fade I would be buying another set since I like the fit, durability and PRICE.
