I'll never understand this attitude. How much beach do people need to be able to go walking on? So you don't like motorized recreation then go to areas where it isn't allowed.
It's the same with closing the woods down.
Also they close down the beach because of our horrible pollution. But have no problem covering every square inch of area around the beach in housing developments.
Also in Tahoe where they close down 4WD trails because of oil getting into the forest but when it rains I can see oil running off the pavement into the ditch.

It is never a easy answer and IMO a lot of time they do more harm than good as you said.

I guess all the hard ones are just burned into people's memories.
Only if you've ever had to pull your tranny.. Or other hard to get to parts/bolts.
I don't remember those. What I do remember is mistaking the torx bolts on the two upper bell housing bolts for allen bolts. You know, the two that takes 4' of extensions and a impact gun to remove.
I bought that socket specifically for those bolts. Having a V-8 and 46RE I no longer have to deal with those silly bolts.

Top bolts on the tranny bellhousing, but I only surmised from the fact they are really weird and I knew you were thinking about doing the clutch. I don’t think mine are the same. I believe mine are an E-5.
