Is it ok to remove my rear shocks and have the Jeep sit like that for a few days? Waiting on new shocks to arrive but wanted to get ahead. Thanks
He should go for a drive without the shocks installed and report back on how much the springs control the ride quality.Unless you are planning to drive it. The shocks do nothing when a vehicle is stationary
Let me know how that goes for youHe should go for a drive without the shocks installed and report back on how much the springs control the ride quality.
Did all 4 corners no problems lol live in Ca so rust isn’t a problem here reallyYou'll probably bust at least one of the shock bolts, which means you'll take a month to fix that problem so the Jeep won't have any rear shocks the whole time! Ask me how I know this...
I've done it. What do you think will happen?Let me know how that goes for you
from what I’ve read it won’t be a pleasant rideI've done it. What do you think will happen?
There's only one way to find out. It's pretty interesting.from what I’ve read it won’t be a pleasant ride
You must have nothing better else to do I’m assuming? I had a question and it got answered, not sure the point your trying to prove? There's only one way to find out. It's pretty interesting.
It's part of a larger discussion that goes back many many years. And it's entirely up to you if you want to take advantage of this opportunity to learn a bit more about your suspension. You must have nothing better else to do I’m assuming? The springs simply don't care one way or another. But if you care about such things, you can find out more about what does what to control the ride.Gotcha, I looked before I posted and all I found was driving no shocks not Recommended, but nothing about just sitting for days no shocks
Me too. I have a comparison of what it's like but I won't say yet in case anyone else wants to try it out first. LOLI've done it. What do you think will happen?
