2000 Jeep Tj, 4.0 driving in city, speed went up to 40 MPH without foot on the gas pedal, check gauges light came on, all normal except amps
jumped to and stayed at 19 amps. Replaced throttle position sensor. Ran OK for one day. The next day driving highway speed 50MPH and check
gauge light came on and amps again went to 19 amps. Reduced speed and check engine light went out. Now, afraid to drive anywhere.
Throttle position sensor or alternator or something else? Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. Not a MoPar throttle position sensor replacement.
