So, for doing work on johnny joints, SYE, axles, etc...what are the recommended snap ring pliers?

Thanks

I have a pair of craftsman reversing pliers (47412) that work great. They are exactly the same as what @nk24 posted. There are some others at Harbor Freight that I saw that look fine too. I think the reversing pliers are generally more useful and easier to use.

I bought Lisle Convertable Sanp Ring Pliers form Advanced Auto. They worked but I wished for bigger stronger.

Get the ones Currie uses in his JJ disassembly and reassembly video.

I have a pair of the Knipex, they're just about the only thing that'll pull the snap rings off the front axles of my F250

Watch the upcoming BFH video, then you all will know the secret of the correct orientation.

I’ve made all the tools I’ve used work so far, unless they’re too greasy whatever you have or can acquire will be fine.
