Finally got around to installing my aluminum ucf skids. I went with the ultra high clearance..,, definitely gained a ton of clearance over stock. These skids from ucf are made well and easy to install I would highly recommend. Still need adjustable arms to rotate my pinion up after how high it raised the transfer case(dented my tub to fit). Had to modify the skid to work on my 04 automatic, otherwise it was hitting my trans pan as advertised.

I’ve been waiting to get the time for the body lift, motor Mount lift and the skid plate install. I’ve got all the parts just need the time.

I've got a few things from UCF and have no complaints. That 42RLE pan is a bitch, that's for sure. Nothing a little work with a grinder wont fix.

You got that right. I actually took a big ass pipe wrench and just bent the skid down in the front to clear the pan… no grinder needed! I knew what I was getting into beforehand though since it states it wasn’t gonna fit with the 42rle

I went with the 1/4” skid. I have the savvy body lift, and more bombproof motor mount lift to make this doable. I did have to dent the tub up to clear the transfer case and had to modify the exhaust hanger that is attached to the transfer case. Nothing major, definitely helps to have a second hand installing the skid itself though.

Good to know, I've got a 241 as well. Glad to see you're happy with the 1/4". I'm not sure the 3/8" is worth the extra cost save for the peace of mind. Plus it puts it more in the Savvy skid cost territory which make the decision more difficult when you suffer from analysis paralysis like I do.
