New Jeep Wrangler JL Photos Released

Full disclosure, I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on a new 4dr diesel wrangler rubicon. Definitely not at the expense of ever giving up my TJ of course but as more of a DD to slowly convert to an off road beast(it seems to take 4-ever to get decent aftermarket mods for any new rig...

Help! How to educate my bf without a fight

Hello and welcome! I'm sure more than a few others will weigh in here (Jerry, Chris) that are a wealth of information. There are also a few "stickys" like https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/a-beginners-guide-to-lifting-your-jeep-wrangler-tj.733/ that might help. For what it's worth Skyjacker...

Anybody use a steering stabilizer with Currie Currectlync steering?

I am currently running a Rubicon Express Stabilizer on mine. The OME steering stabilizer I ordered just arrived yesterday and it will be going on at the same time I swap my front Diff Cover. Which ever way you decide to go, a stabilizer will definitely fit and it makes the control go from...

Onboard air: Best bang for your buck?

I was in the same place you are a few months ago and did what @Jerry Bransford did. Cost was well under $300, actually closer to $225-250 if I recall, just have to spend $10 to get it refilled at the local welding shop every so often.

    Any Pointers?

Welcome to the forum! You have asked some really good questions and gotten some great feedback. Most important you are planning your build for what you intend on using your jeep for, that might not seem like a big deal but there are a huge amount of guys out there (maybe a few on here) who can...

    Time for Aux lights...

Hi Vulture. I am maybe half a step ahead of you in this process, and only because I have decided that I'm going to get a roof rack. I got really spoiled with the added cargo space of my old LJ and that has made the decision to buy a Gobi Ranger Rack for my TJ almost a no brainer, and kind of...

    Is 93 Renegade worth extra

Ditto everything else already posted. There is a red YJ with the Renegade package that I drive by twice a day going to and from work and I always think to myself that it is a great "conversation piece", like if I inherited one but I just can't see investing the kind of money your seller is...

    New owner needs help

Stock TJ lamps are the absolute worst, the very first upgrade I did was a set of Cibie 82440 light units and OSRAM Night Breaker Unlimited H4 Super-white Halogen lamps. All told about $100 and 15-20 minutes of time. Best bang for the $$ on economical light upgrades IMO, especially considering...

    New guy checking in

Hey there and welcome aboard! Also a Kalifornia resident so my condolences as well but since we do have pretty much every type of land feature imaginable for wheeling . . . it almost balances out, almost. Great group here, lost ok knowledge and none of the technical issues that the other site...
