    Catalytic converter recommendations?

Greetings all, There is a high chance I’ll need to replace my catalytic converters. Looking for recommendations. I looked through multiple threads and websites and I keep hearing good things about flowmaster. My only push back on those is the current price. I saw prices went from $260 2 years...

Currie bump stop size? Rancho lift kit bump stop size?

How come currie only carries 1 size bump stops? I also don’t see a size https://www.rockjock4x4.com/CE-9122F-TJ-LJ-XJ-MJ-Front-Bump-Stop-Kit I was doing some digging, and from what I read I’d you are supposed to cycle the suspension to get an accurate size for bump stops. Several years ago, a...

How to repair multifunction switch for fog lights (fog lights that won't turn off)

Hey y’all. It’s been a year and a half since I fixed these. Let me just say that I believe the inside melted again 🙃 and now the fog lights are “always on” so I got tired of it and just unplugged them.

    Best suspension for smoother ride

Hey guys. Currently in the process of doing research to upgrade some suspension. I recently graduated college and will begin a new job that pays pretty well(finally). In the past years, I had been upgrading some suspension parts for the Jeep since the previous owner apparently half assed...

Is it common to install bigger transmission mounts when installing a lift?

Will do that. Well I have a rubicon so no need for the SYE. I will be going back to school (last semester of college) but might end up picking a job to work at least once a week to save up for the rear driveshaft, control arms, etc. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Is it common to install bigger transmission mounts when installing a lift?

I believe so. I’ll have to double check to measure. But yes that’s been on my list. Front driveshaft first to wrap up the front with the new stuff and upgrades. Why didn’t I think of that!?!? that makes so much more sense. I mean I sort of knew it had the spacers to drop the transmission but I...

Is it common to install bigger transmission mounts when installing a lift?

I’m pretty sure it has a small transfer case drop. I’ll post some pics. I was told by a jeeper friend who knows more than me that the little spacers between the skid plate and the frame allowed for the transmission to be dropped a bit. I will post some some pictures. I do not see anybody lift...

Is it common to install bigger transmission mounts when installing a lift?

This may be a dumb question, but when they install a lift, do they put a bigger transmission mount? I have no idea what the guy before me did to this Jeep all I know is I’ve been having to fix the crappy half-ass job he did to it when lifting it. I recently had a clutch replacement job done and...

    Clogged catalytic converter?

No worries! If you find out you got a misfire issue same as mine and you need to replace the coil, I will add the link where I got it. Messaged the RIPPsuperchargers on Instagram asked why they didn’t offer this kit on their website for the TJ (it said coming soon). They said that ksuspension...

    Clogged catalytic converter?

Turns out, don’t know how, but there was some hidden misfire code. I had one of my really good friends do a deep scan with those fancy machines mechanics own that run a ton of diagnostic tests. Wouldn’t be surprised, (with everything I’ve had to fix from previous owners being lazy). bought the...

    Popping noise in steering column

I am still driving the Jeep just fine. It’s annoying but it works. I think we need to switch out the steering column itself. The popping does not come from the other places mentioned before and I’ve greased things and still pops. I just need to take it apart to find the correct match. I think...

    Brake line leak

Yes new copper crush washers were used. I put on new everything. New rotors, brake pads, calipers and it came with new copper washers. All power stop brand. The new stainless steel hoses (Russell brand) were installed on a separate time. It was then that they began leaking a bit. So it seems...

    Brake line leak

Hey guys. So I got some Russell stainless steel brake hose kit installed on the Jeep. For some reason, it was first leaking at the angio bolt when torqued properly. Got it to not leak there without tightening it too much. Now the upper part where it meets the hard brake lines leak because it’s...
