What did you do to your TJ today?

Second one in the owner's manual (at least for the 97). I think this is the correct part number: P56038933AB. Paired with a Bluetooth cassette adapter it's actually an upgrade in functions from my old one haha

Looks good! Here's a photo of the wiring on mine for anyone else reading these posts and hoping to replicate.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Hahaha I think I'll have to keep a Duran Duran tape as a backup if the aux cassette adapter breaks.

What did you do to your TJ today?

That would be the optional cassette tape player with cutting-edge, Dolby B Noise Reduction and automatic metal and CrOZ tape detection capability. Jealous? Hahaha

What did you do to your TJ today?

I can post a close-up of the switch panel. I did find this post where someone else on the forum had the same setup. (last post at this link: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/where-to-put-locker-auxiliary-light-switches.23702/post-470903

Tires or Wheels to Remove Need for Wheel Spacers

Thanks! So its 1:1 (9.5 inches to 10.5 = at least on inch less of backspacing (4.25 instead of 5.25)

Tires or Wheels to Remove Need for Wheel Spacers

So, another dumb question - how do I determine the minimum backspacing necessary in a new wheel for 31/10.5 tires to not rub? (just curious, since I'll consider doing that when these tires wear out)

Tires or Wheels to Remove Need for Wheel Spacers

Thanks for all the input, that helps a ton. I still would prefer no spacers, but I'm understanding the thinking behind having spacers a bit more now... @bobthetj03 That was one question I had about the narrower tire option (switching to 30" tires, then questioning the 2" lift). I believe my...

Tires or Wheels to Remove Need for Wheel Spacers

Thank you for the feedback everyone. So it seems like the trade-off is: - add washers to steering stops, reducing turn radius (is it really reduced enough to noticeably degrade performance on the trail?) - spacers off and stop turning when I hear rubbing (isn't that also basically reducing my...

Tires or Wheels to Remove Need for Wheel Spacers

Hello! I have a (convoluted) problem similar to this thread on narrow tires. Please let me know if you can help me figure out my options! My '97 TJ has: - a 2" suspension lift - OEM gambler wheels (15x8; 5.25" backspacing; +19mm offset) - 31x10.50 R15 LTX A/T Michelin tires...

    Hello from DC

@sjalkian Thanks for the recommendations. We definitely have to check out Flagpole and Rausch Creek — that looks amazing. @Frankenjeep II sounds good!

    Hello from DC

Thanks for the welcome everyone! @sjalkian I've done Peter's Mill but not Flagpole! Recommend it? Peter's Mill was pretty rocky — we need to go when there's more mud!

    Hello from DC

New to the forum and relatively new TJ-owner (1 year), and it's been great! My TJ is a manual transmission, six cylinder, 1997 Sport (Dana 44 rear) with 100k miles. The previous owner installed ARB front and rear lockers, a two-inch suspension lift, a Warn winch, and added 31 inch tires He kept...
