New Release - Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T

I like my Baja ATZ P3's. The tread pattern on these seems to be the same, just updated sidewalls. If someone has them for cheap and in a package deal, I wouldn't shy away from getting them again.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Well, I had a wicked drive line vibration due to welded in snap rings on my slip yoke on the rear drive shaft. I ordered a new slip yoke from extreme terrain, gave it a nice coat of por15, new u-joints from omix and did the same to the remainder of the rear drive shaft. Its all shiny black...

What did you do to your TJ today?

POR15! Its a converter. Knock off the heavy rust with a wire brush, clean with a wax and grease remover, then apply the converter.Tip, if you're using por15 on a surface that gets sunlight, you need to topcoat it. It'll chalk and fade on you.

How to Paint Your Fender Flares

I kind of want to try this, but with something rubberized like plasti-dip. I have had great results with the product. I sprayed a set of grilles on a silverado and jetta with good results. It looks fresh, and if you do it right it lasts at least 5 years. The stuff also can be freshened up with...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Im only running ATs but, Id say a mixture of tires, bad roads and the echo chamber that is the factory hard top. Im hard of hearing already and cant hear the stereo very well. I added sound treatment to the doors already and it made a difference!

What did you do to your TJ today?

In preparation of getting ready for Sound Shield sound deadening treatment, I am taking care of some small rust issues on the floorboards. Before wire wheel on a drill. I knocked the heavy stuff off. Once the sound deadener is applied to the floors and lower portion of the firewall...

Has anyone ever seen this nonsense?

Yes it has worked! I just don't trust it at super high speeds for long periods of time. On a side note- nice jeep, Dude!

Has anyone ever seen this nonsense?

Thanks for the input! I bought two 1310 joints for the rear shaft, and planned on replacing them both. I'll take the shaft down to the local shop for a balance check after I replace the joints.

    That's correct!

Has anyone ever seen this nonsense?

Extreme Terrain had the part on their site. I bought some Omix ADA u-joints and bearing straps to tend to what I thought would just be a u-joint issue. Once the new slip yoke comes in, I'll have some new u-joints, a new slip boot and fresh coat of POR 15. I'm trying to make the best out of a...

Has anyone ever seen this nonsense?

Due to some drive line vibrations on my wrangler, I am forced to look into the source of my issues. Now, whether it's bad luck, or just coincidence; I have been under this jeep at least a dozen times inspecting or fixing things and never saw this. As you can imagine, I got pretty angry at the...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Just as any other day, I took the jeep out for my Saturday running. Today, It finally warmed up a bit so I rolled the windows down. I noticed a chirp coming from the right rear that increased with speed. It was much too slow of a chirp to be coming from the drive shaft. I'm thinking its the rear...
