my 2.5l idles up higher (2000+ rpm) It does come back down usually within 30 - 60 seconds. Is it possible the fan clutch is causing this or should I look else where? Thank you, Frank

I loosen my compressor and remove three bolts and let it pivot on the fourth. In my opinion that is the easiest.

check the vac line to the maf sensor as well? Ask me how I know :)

I've always used the wives hair dryer. Of course, your wife significant other (just in case) might beat the hell out you. Just remember to clean off the greasy finger prints :rolleyes:

This is where I just got my new clutch assembly. https://acclutches.com/brands/Maxsam.html All new hardware was included. Clutch, Pully, bearing, C-clips, nut and spacers. Easy job and it did the trick.

I always understood that the whole daylight savings thing was originally for the farmers. Have daylight in the am. But I too agree it SUCKS, especially since I work nights.
