I did clean the IAC valve and I bought a TPS hoping that would fix it but I cannot get the TPS out because the bolts are so stuck they twisted the torx bit. Any ideas of an easy way to get it out?

I did not have my foot on the gas. Just coasting with the clutch pressed. I have already cleaned the iac. I did buy a tps and was going to change it hoping that would help and the bolts to get it out is so stuck it twisted my torx bit. Any ideas how to get it out haha

Thanks Thanks! I’ll have to try that because that’s about where mine will jump up to and if I’m already at 2,000 RPMs it won’t do it.

Hey guys I have a 2004 wrangler x with the 4.0 motor. Here lately when I press in the clutch when shifting up only the rpm’s will jump a couple hundred. It doesn’t do it all the time just every once in a while. Any ideas what it could be?
