Time for new control arms

Sorry if you guys thought I ran off. 😂 I just forgot to check back in. Im actually laughing at some of these responses because I dont think the way ANY of you guys think I do. This is all coming off the wrong way because I am typing on a computer vs talking to you guys. Of course a PROPERLY lifted jeep should ride well. A crappy lift (like my rough country) or a stock jeep rides like crap. I am open to ideas I just dont like people thinking they can tell me I think in a certain way. None of how I feel or you feel about me or each other matters. I just wanna know how to make my jeep better and I thought people with the same vehicle would have that knowledge. If you can get past the previous posts and just give me your opinion on quality parts to replace my lift with, I would certainly appreciate that.

Again I'm not some jackass that doesn't wanna listen, or just start drama. That isnt my intention at all. I just feel it gets lost over texts and computers. Sorry for how I came off guys. I really value all of your opinons.

I did mean when I bought the jeep. Like I said, not great at communication online.
Stock actually rides fairly well, but any stock rig anymore would be at least 15 years old.

Most people slap on a lift kit and accept any poor behavior as "it's a Jeep thing". But I can tell you it doesn't need to be if you invest the time and money to do it right it is a really fun drive. The main thing to get there is shocks.

Thats what im trying to do man. Ive dealt with this setup for 4 years now and im trying to build it to be a comfortable daily, with mild to moderate offroad-ability. More overlanding than straight up rock crawling. I want to be able to go camping without worrying how far I have to drive or if I will get stuck getting to a cool site. Thats my ultimate goal. This thread is really about lift components; Arms, Shocks, springs. Im not going with struts or anything crazy yet. Just comfortable components for road trips and some offroading.

To your original questions, there is no reason to cut brackets, unless there is a real problem. However, you can strengthen the LCA mounts with a set of these.

As for the control arms, stay with a short arm, but don't go cheap. I've been through a few different brands and these are the best balance of performance, durability, and looks available.

Beyond that, you'll need to decide on springs that provide the best free length, and match those with a shock ride you like. Shocks are a personal thing, which have been thoroughly covered, so I'm leaving that one alone!

I have artec LCA brackets already so thats strong. I will probably go with the currie aluminum, and I have heard good things about currie springs. Its just going to have to be piece by piece.

I do NOT have snap on tools dude! I don't have near that money hahah!
It was a throwback to a few years ago when a new member came on saying he just bought a jeep, someone responded with "pics or it didnt happen" and the original poster got upset and left claiming he had $60k worth of snap on tools. Very bizarre
