Yea...definitely NOT my first (or even third) choice at all. Bought it thinking I'll take it off and have the stock grill...well, took it off day one of ownership only to find out the grill had been entirely cut out...talk about a facepalm. Why in the world would someone cut out the iconic Jeep grill? I should be able to find a replacement easily, but still...

Phone holder is the gateway drug. Next up ? Roof Top Tent. 
Stupid money but works so well. I turn mine 90 degrees, better view for Waze or gaia.

My first Jeep mod today!! Seat risers!! Lol, the instructions were wrong re: the one odd bolt per seat, it’s not a T-55, it’s a “T-45 plus”
I like that. Will be interested to here how it does on on the trails!
Tried some LED H4 bulbs in my Ecodes, they suck and splatter the light. The cutoff with the halogen bulbs is much much better.
I've gotten tired of the wind coming through the hard top seal. The hard top is so loose that the factory latches can unlatch without being opened. I have to put about 3/16" worth of shims in.
A little bit of flat bar and the gr8tops latch can be adapted. I'm planning to make a bent sheet metal template for anyone else with this issue. The new latch is adjustable.

Gathered all the stuff to paint the bumper, did a test fit, and kinda liked it in its aluminum colored glory. Going to run it this way for a few a bit before I commit to painting.
With the winch off (I forgot how damn heavy that thing is along with the plate), I decided to remove the grill inserts and go au naturale as it was intended to be. The inserts were the first mod when I got the Jeep.
Im kinda liking it. Its a different look and I like the contrast. Maybe I’ll grow sick of it in a week or until my OCD can’t take the mismatching colors. Still have to drill holes to throw the KCs back on but I’ll run it this way for now. The thing is super light too. Weighed it at 9.2 lbs. About 11 lbs lighter than stock bumper.

Gave it a solar folding blanket while camping on the Turquoise coast last 4 days, works well but need to get a lithium battery my 100Ah AGM is just way to heavy for the TJ and Me!
Which bulbs? The Beamtech H4 LEDs I put in my Cibié housings have as good of a cutoff as the Osram bulbs they replaced.

Picked up an aluminum bumper from UCF during their Black Friday sale. Delivered yesterday. Can’t decide. Should I paint it black or run it as is? My rear bumper is black steel. Heres a pic of my current setup for reference.
Run it raw, paint just adds weight
