What did you do to your TJ today?

Multiple reasons tbh:

- I wanted to be able to adjust things as needed for my back.
- Sometimes I haul larger items on the rear-bench seat (boxes for UPS, etc.) that require the front seat to be adjusted.
- I want the option to recline the seat for naps (as needed on long trips or if I'm off the grid without camping gear).

You can definitely sit in the seats (I'll be around).

I can't install them until after the Rugged Ridge levers arrive, which will be right around the time that I get knee surgery (next Friday). Might need about 3-4 weeks before I do the installation (hopefully sooner!). I'll try to update this thread once they are installed, but feel free to reach out in case it slips my mind.
Please let us know about the install and final results. I'm a big and tall guy and I'm looking to replace my seats, I am pretty sure that the Enduro Recliners are the best bet, but I'm concerned about them sitting too tall. What are these levers? and are you planning on doing anything with the seat belt mounting? I'm assuming you're using PRP's brackets?

Parked it and admired it after taking the long way to as many errands as I could find excuses to run with the TJ in open air mode on a gorgeous sunny, 86 degree day. 😃

I painted some rust converter/ primer behind the rear inner fender liner where the torque box ends. I used some stuff from Xionlabs.

The paint was thick so it is much easier to apply than POR-15 or other similar products.

I hate the red color but it will all be hidden by the inner fender liner. This is a before and after the first coat. Time will tell if it works.

Ok so I’m installing revolution rear axles in my Dana 44 rubicon rear and had to fight to get the driver side race out. Here is a picture of what I found. Any suggestions? Green locktite maybe? Or just install the new one without locktite? Or?

As @DaveC said, it's a nice day out. Took it for a trip around the block. Wanted to check the speedo against GPS but forgot my phone.

I third these gentlemen. Took it for a spin just to enjoy the nice weather. Also sported my half doors for the first time.

I’ve never used loctite on an axle bearing race but I’ve also only done a handful of them. I usually just clean it up really good and put whatever type of lubricant that will be on / in said bearing whether it’s gear oil or bearing grease or ATF in and around the surface after cleaning to help lube it up for installation. That’s just how I roll 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nice but they'd be nicer if they were yellow.
Inspired by a photo of a red LJ with yellow half doors, I disassembled a pair I picked up about 8 months ago. I had to sand bed liner off of one of them. Now they're off to a buddy's shop, and will be Flame Red the next time they appear here.

You should paint them yellow again.

Installed the Currie steering linkage and the ProComp steering stabilizer that's been sitting in storage for a year and a half, found out my grease gun has turned to crap so I'll be getting another one tomorrow to finish it up
I’ll probably be installing the the Currie steering tomorrow, any advice or helpful video/thread links you used?

Also, awesome cattle dog in your avatar. Mine is almost a year old.

Be prepared to be covered with anti seize, no matter how careful you are that crap gets everywhere, other than that just follow the directions and you should be fine
The cattle dog is Angus, he's 14 and mildly psychotic
