Goodbye Guys

Okay yeah that sounds about right. The TRD has lockers doesn't it? I was surprised they were having trouble but that does make sense. Bet it's comfortable though lol nothing like the wind on the highway in a TJ lol
Yup, e-locker in the rear. Lol, I’m sometimes not a fan of driving my Jeep on windy days. I’ve almost lost a couple of hats coming into a gust of wind.

That's a long trip, especially in a YJ. :)
Yeah, and we were running a bikini top, a windjammer with a tonneau cover and the soft door uppers. Luckily, in the whole two-week trip it only rained on the last day, which was around a 300 run. That hot shower when we got home sure felt good.

I've never understood this attitude. I have a 1998 Coachmen Starflyte motorhome with a Ford Triton V10 engine; we drove it from San Clemente CA to Chapel Hill NC in June - 2552 miles - with our four rescue cats in tote. Sure - I spent ~6 weeks getting it ship-shape, but it made it w/o using a drop of oil or as much as hiccupping the entire trip. My 2004 Jeep Wrangler Columbia Edition? I wouldn't think twice about driving it coast-to-coast, leaving tomorrow; maybe that's because I keep ALL my vehicles in tip-top condition - tires, belts/hoses, fluids; plus I carry spares of the stuff that MIGHT strand me. C'mon guys - how many close to NEW vehicles have we seen on the hook or beside the road with their hoods up?

Don't forget to load up on Pedros fried chicken tacos on the way out!
