I've had two sets of ProComps, with no complaints. They're relatively cheap, easy to come by, light weight, and hold up well. When I've had damage, I take a dremel tool to them, then polish them up. As @MikekiM said, they can be a pain to clean, but I haven't found them any more difficult than other polished wheels.

Those look amazing, on your silver TJ, especially. Several have commented on the old school cool factor of the 69s and I agree. I have the polished 69s on my Dodge diesel tow rig in 18x9. I couldn’t do the maintenance so I had them clear powder coated. That dulls them a little but it’s better than the oxidation which would be there otherwise. Not a problem for you though!

The Ultra's are really nice. Are they a brushed finish?

I have the ProComp 69's.

Major PITA to keep clean so be prepared to be a slave to polishing them if you care. I don't do it nearly often as I would like so the shine is not what it used to be.

That’s a really nice looking rig. The ultra finish is machined with a pretty thick clear coat.

If you're looking to reduce maintenance there are a few options.

I had really good luck using Zoops crystal clear coat on my three piece HRE's. Lasted about two years with zero effort. That said, I did the coating only on the polished lips. The spokes were brushed and then powder coated clear. If you're doing the entire wheel it makes more sense to paint them clear than powder coat. It makes repairing rock rash easier.. fix the offending spot(s), polish and then respray with paint. There is no way that I know of to do a localized repair when powder coated.

Not everyone loves black steelies but I think my cheap D-windows look more than fine on my TJ.
I agree that your current Black D-Windows look more than fine on your TJ. I really like them and wouldn't hesitate to go with something like a Black Mammoth Boulder wheel.
