Is it appropriate to adjust control arms to prevent track bar from hitting differential?

I was having the same issue; track bar hitting the diff cover; but solved it in a different way.
3.25" lift with extra offset on the rims and 33's with 2" bumpstop extensions.
I noticed when going from 29" to 33" the turning circle seemed tighter, but did not worry about it. Later when I saw the rubbing on the diff cover, I noticed I could hear a tap going uphill with near full lock turning hard left (RHD vehicle). I sprayed the shiny spot black and did this a couple times, and sure enough it went shiny again.
I added a few washers to the steering stops, problem seems to have gone away. 6 months now, lots of club trips, no further issue.
Yes I cant turn as tight but still easily out turn the LWB JK'S so I'm ok with that.
