What did you do to your TJ today?

Previous owner (since 05) never did anything to the jeep apparently
-scrubbed carpet, seats
- attempted to add 4 inch to seat, they sent parts that don't work
- cleaned soft top, added protection, looks like a new top!!! Went from faded grey to that factory green.
- cleaned up the vinyle windows too
- some plastic part on the linkage arm to trans broke so I couldn't get out of park. Luckily it was in my driveway. I zip tied it on... Gunna 3d print a part for it this weekend.
- went to install new headlights and lost my damn wrench adapter (when I unbolted the seats earlier) and can't find it now lol

Flat towed for the first time today. Ye Haw. Jeep is in the shop for Big Brake Kit, new shocks, and to hopefully repair the botched lift install. Until I decide to try to outboard - hopefully the last shop upgrade for a while. Also got my fog lights and tow harness install finished this morning (still need to make wiring extensions for the fog lights :(. Sadly, USPS messed up shipping the microrelay for my stereo - so that is on hold. Kind of messed up, left the stereo harness in the Jeep - so unless it is parked outside and I run over to snatch it, will have to wait till it gets back to finish the harness (but then again, who knows when the harness is going to show up). Other than the last bit of wiring, the stereo is ready to go back in and the dash put back together.

If the shop manages to get the work done tomorrow - will do my best to install the Arizona Rocky Road Radio mount this weekend and put on the new hard top. That said, I have work to do on the hardtop first, so who knows... Reading a tape measure must be a lost art. First the shop could not center my front axle - then I noticed the installer put my roof platform on the roof crooked. At least the tracks are not crooked, just the towers are not centered on the platform. Plus I was going to need to tear the platform appart as one corner is not installed right either. Kind of close enough for Goverment work...

The ARR mount was easy. I was able to install it myself. Darn near broke my arm trying to pat myself on the back after the install.

Good for you!
What size tires?

265 75R16 - 32" for now. C-rated. I love my Moab wheels. '05 6-speed. It's a little buzzy, but it's not a DD. GrimmJeeper calculator seems spot on. The lift is there for 33's when I want to go there. Will have to switch to 15" steelies when that time comes, I guess.

Interested to see what becomes of the MPG. Only 40 miles break-in at this point.

Trying to get the CEL off in the new TJ so I can get it inspected so I can get it titled (not a requirement, but if I do it in the reverse sequence I'll have an out of date sticker until the title comes back). I'm down to just one code, B1/S1 O2 sensor. Put the new NGK in.......and discovered that I need that wiring extension which Amazon can't get here till Saturday.

I'm choosing violence.

This is not bragging or anything I’m just throwing out there how much that I enjoy these-

I am out basically every night of the summer especially right now through end of September is one of my favorite times of the year-

I can’t get enough of it.

Some guys get off work and get on their Harley and some guys go get a six pack and whatever cranks there tractor-

This does it for me.

The sound track tonight is Bryan Adams’ Ultimate CD, a greatest hits compilation and some new stuff.

I have really enjoyed the stereo that @sab sent to me- I don’t know that if I hear it mentioned on here much but these late model sound systems sound pretty good to me-

I just ate with the family and came by my shop that is behind this office to leave a check for my painter, So that he won’t have to wait until after my dad’s funeral tomorrow to get paid.

We never, ever make anybody chase their money in my company, As long as we don’t have to chase them to get the work done.

This TJ has Marks’ @Wranglerfix PCM in it- my white one has 4:56 gears, this one 4:10. This TJ will runoff and leave the white one up to 50, both about the same beyond that. Mark told me it would run better than stock- It is the best running automatic TJ that I have I had to date thanks to Mark.
