So I want to go up in tire size, currently running 275/75/16, I have new 15inch wheels and want to go up to 33s. Is it worth going to 33s? Or 35s? Will you notice the difference?, attached is a picture of how it currently sits. 2.5 inch lift with 1.25 body lift. I’m already regeared to 4.56.

I does go off-road

I don’t know about this stuff that much and can’t help with your question, but people are going to want more specifics so that they can help. You’ve gotta put a bit more effort in… what type of off-roading, how often, etc… just simply saying “I does go off-road” isn’t going to help much

I do mild off road and rock crawling at least 2-3 a month. It has a Dana 35 in the rear and I guess I’m trying to get the most out of it. I’m geared 4.56 with true tracs front and rear

Ask him which transmission the Jeep has.

33's is the end of those axles.

35's is a big $$$ jump.

A good idea for increased capability with 33's would be a front selectable locker and front chromoly axles.

33’s is the end of those axles as in I’m going to break them or that’s the tallest to go? Thanks for the info.

The Dana 30 could break with 33's if you add a locker, unless you add chromoly axles.

The Dana 35 could break with 35's, unless you do a Super 35.

Therefore, the largest tire you can run without compromise on a Dana 30/35 combo is a 33.
