Took some worn out Harbor Freight straps and secured a box in the back for tools/recovery gear/jack/mini shovel/tarp. Cut the straps down so they don't hang out the back of the jeep and flutter in the breeze.

Checked my frame and body for rust. There's some dirt accumulation in there, but no rust. Anyone have a good way to clean out these areas?

Greased zerks. I was able to get grease in 12 of the 15 Johnny Joints on my Jeep. From what I hear, that was pure luck.

JKS sway bar disconnects. Only problem is my not very mechanically inclined buddy who was helping over torqued a bolt and snapped it. Any ideas on how to get it out/what bolt I need?

Drill it out or drill a small hole in it and try an easy out. Sometimes they’re not so easy though lol

The clog hog technique is pretty great. I have a cheapo Sun Joe pressure washer and they make their own proprietary pipe jet that's pretty affordable.

Also gotta say the Sun Joe pressure washer has been surprisingly good as well. It's not the most powerful but I bought it fully expecting it to last one maybe two seasons and it's going on 6 years old now

Drove down close to DC to pick up my new trailer. Definitely need to get a drop hitch because it’s sits at a pretty steep angle with 4” of lift. It pulled really well and I didn’t even know it was there most of the time, especially when you can barely see it in the mirrors. I had to double check a couple times just to make sure I didn’t lose it lol hopefully someone would have honked but you never know about those Maryland drivers 🤷🏼‍♂️

I figured I would go ahead and change the oil before we head to the beach this Friday. I got a sample to send off to Blackstone Labs to see how well the rebuild is breaking in. Fingers crossed for good results lol I just got over a thousand miles on it since installing it back in May and it seems to run well. I’m sure the 9-1/2 hour drive to the beach will be the true test.

Dialed in the DA control arms. Front was done last weekend. This weekend was the rear and then flexing all corners to measure for shocks. Going Skyjacker Black Max B8549 & B8563 to maximize flex with the Currie/Savvy 4" setup.

First time in 2 years the Jeep's been on all 4 wheels and having the axles dialed in. Measured for front & rear driveshafts. Putting in an order to Woody's.

Flexing the front

Flexing the rear Driver side - checking for clearances. TB just barely misses the GTS bolts when at full flex & on bumpstops.

Rear Passenger at max flex. This is my biggest limiting factor. Lower DA is at it's shortest possible length. May need to trim once I get the flares on and see How much could be removed...

I just dealt with this over the weekend. I hate to tell you this but you will need to remove the grill to get a proper angle to drill that out. You might be able to use left-hand bits to remove it, but I doubt they will work. You will need to drill it out and retap the hole or use a bolt and nut.

shot the fuel rail with the temp gun after a relatively short drive from work some weeks ago- it was at 175 degrees- so i decide to do some tinkering- basically sleeve the entire fuel rail/line in the engine compartment- idea being to spray a little cooler fuel. 2 feet of heater hose and a few feet of 3/8 fuel line that i had.

Don't they make a precut wrap for this? What problem is this solving exactly?
