I'd like to see your off road light setup

Mine run into the cowl and exit between the cowl drain and cowl, from there routed to sPod thats under the hood

any chance you can show me a close up pic? I've got a light day at work and we're hitting the trails tomorrow...

I just bent the edge of the cowl panel so it wasn't pressing a sharp edge into my wire. You can do it pretty much anywhere along the edge of the cowl. It'll be more obvious when you pull the cowl panel off.

ok, that makes me feel better. Thanks for the close-ups. I have an idea for slipping the wires in there, but I went with the double pod setup, so I have twice as many wires. Cowl is already off, back to the salt mines!

If you happen to have a pic of how you routed them in the cowl and out through the firewall I wouldn't mind seeing them. I love wiring porn but also maybe somebody did something clever I want to copy.

For some reason, I don't have any photos. The Jeep is parked under the hardtop, so I can't pop the hood tonight.

I pulled the rubber trim under the back edge of the hood. I may have drilled or notched out a chunk to route the wires. I actually can't remember.

Then from the engine compartment, I used the black plastic plug that belongs here to route the switches to the dash.

I originally wanted to use the factory fog light switch, but it was somehow used to fix the LED Turn Signal + LED Marker Lights.
So I went with the small KC 2-position switches that came with the set

The whole setup is bright AF

Changed my setup since I last posted. Same lights, different placement. I liked the previous look better, but this is more functional.

Not really an off-road light setup, but a light setup nonetheless.

Adding ditch lights once I decide on which ones I want.

Rear...
Two sets of LED pods that are combo fog & spot.
One set mounted under the rear bumper.
One set on the Bestop cargo basket which also has a single LED pod point straight down at the tailgate table (with another mounted under the Bestop Instatrunk). I remove the cargo basket often so the leads to the rear facing pods and the basket mounted third brake light are on a standard quick disconnect SAE connector. My normal third brake lights are in the spares lug holes and are covered when the Trasheroo is mounted, so I added the upper third brake light LED strip.

All the aux lights are controlled independably by a dash mounted Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel except the third brake light and table & trunk lights which are on a pin switch with an override kill switch so I can be in camp with the gate open but turn the lights off.
