My regrets

Recently I was accused of screwing up the forum system.

That's what you get for using a PHOOOOOONNE of any kind to accomplish anything.

I use my phone to accomplish many things, and do so quite often.

I am currently sitting in an airport heading out west and using it very effectively to communicate with my virtual buds here on the forum.

It’s also telling me where my bags are, that my flight is on time, and I’ve shared this information with my sister in Laguna to let her know where and when to pick me up.

For me, it is quite the useful tool.

And I could do all that without a PHOOOOOONNE!! A lot of it just by getting up and looking at "the board". No monthly subscription needed nor wanted!

Some of us need to be in constant contact with the outside world in order to conduct business. I love the fact that I’m able to be free to travel the world and be able to conduct business while sitting on a beach in Bali. My phone is a tax deduction for me. I’ve had a mobile phone since the mid 80s. Fist one was a suitcase. Then Brick when they came out. That’s when a call was $2.50/min. It all depends on your lifestyle. My Smartphone makes me money.

And you can do all that without having to put up with a PHOOOOOONNE!! If I truly needed to do things like that, I'd use a laptop with a 5G card. Then I'd get a REAL computer, with a REAL keyboard, a REAL pointing device, a REAL operating system - and most importantly, a REAL screen that is actually usable. I won't say that I'd rather be shot in the head than to use a smartphone, but its pretty darn close - a mediocre phone and a HORRID computer. A jack of all trades, a master of none, unless you count sucking money outta your wallet - PHOOOOOONNEs are REALLY good at that.
