Grab Bars

I have the velcro attached soft handles that attach to the roll bar. They do not affect visibility.
I can't even remember the last time I actually used a grab bar/handle. I installed mine for my short wife.

I didn't think I would ever actually use them, got them for the vertically challenged GF.

The top picture is where they ended up. The bottom is where they started.
Either one works fine for me.

Mine, similar to those shown by John Cooper, are from Carolina Metal Masters (now discontinued, I think). The one on my side appears in front of the A pillar, so there is no visual obstruction. I wish I had sprung for them long ago, but the last 5 years with them have been brilliant. They are rock solid and put the soft ones to shame.
I've got Grabars that don't get in my view at all. Love them!
I've had the wrap around the roll bar style and the Sun ate them up even with a hard top. I finally installed the Hookroad grab bars and I'm very happy with them.
Yes, picked them up new in the box off marketplace a couple months ago. Still in original packaging with paperwork for about half price
things are beefy!
I would guess it depends on the handle, have seen some big bulky ones. I have hard mounts that are part of my cage. I never notice them while driving but are super handy. I use them every time I get in and out. Never been an issue with vision
