What did you do to your TJ today?

Hail to the victor

I found a factory hard top for my LJ in excellent condition. I drove 4hrs each way yesterday to pick it up. No more wind flapping and wild pressure fluctuations in the cab while on the highway for me!

I've ordered a Hotheads headliner kit and some 80mil and 157mil sound deadening/insulation for the tub. Operation ability to have conversations on the highway has commenced.

Started installing Kilmat on the tunnel.

Instead of a $15 roller set from Amazon that I forgot to order, I'm using some old caster wheels.

P.S. When pulling off the shift knob, wear an oven mitt.

How much you snag it for? I drove 3 hours each way to snag mine, got it for $1100 in great shape :D

I was searching for parts and came across this. 😬 This is the reason southern people get a bad rap.
Truck Hood Sled
Dodge ram van bench seat welded to a second gen hood. It has working seat belts and rides really smooth. Top of the hood is supported with metal for bracing and has a d ring for towing.still has tons of life. Have some fun with the boys, drag it through the mud or snow. It's a blast 100 obo

The front edge of that hood looks like it would act like the shovel skid plate on a TJ. I'd prefer the seat be mounted on the hood of a 67-68 C10.

Everyone needs a tummy tuck.

GTFO! Real hoods, not aftermarket, are in short supply.

Hey now, that is a picture of an aftermarket hood. I just used it to show one of the best shaped hoods to do the job at hand. While I don't think an overpriced POS would keep it's shape while sledding on it, there's gotta be a couple originals out there with damage that make's them beyond repairable or they have too many holes from rust and/or target practice.

Judging from current prices of Action Line P/Us, I don't think anything is "beyond repairable!"
