Car pics too cool not to share

Tell me you've never gone wheeling without telling me you've never been wheeling (the lights).

Notice the lights UNDER the bumper?

And it had those Boggers on it when I bought it too. Was owned by a local parts delivery lady who NEVER took it off-road. This was it getting it's cherry popped.
Had a guy stop me asking about that grille guard. Gave him my address and had came by a few days later and picked it up. It was the first thing to be removed.

That little flamed '34 is the famous "California Kid", built by Pete Chapouris, of Pete & Jake's Hot Rod Parts. It starred in a movie of the same name in 1974. The car is absolutely iconic in the hotrod world. That's a young Martin Sheen sitting on the running board. I definitely like it better with the old school steelies and caps.

I only knew the car from its magazine appearance. I've never heard of the movie.

It's an OK movie. Typical car movie with bad cop against the rebel who comes in to make him pay... I enjoy the older car cult movies so I of course own it and watched it a few months ago.

1952 Dodge B3-C Pilothouse I had the 1954 version of this as my first truck. I drove that truck for over a year before I put a rod thru the block. That was after blowing up the transmission & rear end.

My grandpaw had one of those at some point in his life. He always told me "that truck would get stuck if you pissed under the tire", and that "it couldn't pull a greasy string out of a cats' ass". He hated that truck.
