Cummins R2.8 swap Alaska build

Pause for a weekend, flew down to visit family in Nevada! First time in 13 years being home for Christmas! Happy holidays everyone!!!!

Don't unthaw too much or that shock when you go back north will be a killer.
Happy Holidays to you and yours. Enjoy the time with family. The Jeep will be there when you get back.

Time to revive the thread!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday!

So today got the core for the intercooler mounted where I want it. Also finished up a bracket for ARB and grid heater relay box.

Damn - I need to take welding lessons from you. Nice work.

More updates. Tanks and mounts are on the intercooler. Put in the radiator to check for fitment.

While waiting for intercooler and exhaust piping to come in I'll be prepping the 8.8 to go in. Truss, and ox locker going in. Staying with the 4.10 gear ratio in it.

I like that intercooler setup 1000% more than what I did. I really need to get the equipment so I can weld aluminum . . .

Great work and keep the updates coming!

Congratulations. I know how good of a feeling it is when you take that first drive. Look forward to hearing more about how you like it.
Looks great BTW.
