RedRock Steel Front Grab Handles

Anyone purchase the RedRock Steel Grab Handles? I grabbed these from Extreme Terrain and they say they fit my 06’ Unlimited. The bars appear to be good quality but the trim on my Jeep prevent them from fitting. The picture of the green Jeep is a screenshot from the YouTube video from Extreme Terrain’s website. The other picture is of my Jeep.

You have to cut a hole in that panel for the late model TJ’s. There’s a template somewhere on the forum.

Back when I still had that plastic trim around the windshield on my TJ I installed a set of Grabars. Hole saw to the plastic trim to let them pass through. Not even really noticeable, was a clean looking install.

Trim the windshield trim so the handles can be mounted, it's easy with scissors.

You probably have an 02 or older which didn't use the plastic trim

X2, it only came on 2003 and newer TJs. I never liked it.
