What did you do to your TJ today?

You know this for certain or are you assuming gender?
She was on her college female swim team. ;)

Can confirm this. Oldest boy did a semester abroad at Macquarie University outside Sydney a couple years ago and said the locals were a bit salty about Foster's. Lots of good craft beers in Sydney, but he settled on VB (Victoria Bitter, I think?).

There is an Aussie beer called XXXX ( literally 4X’s) and pronounced 4X.
The joke was that it was spelt with four X’s because Aussies can’t spell ‘BEER’ 😂

I was fortunate to spend a year in Adelaide, working on a large IT project. According to the locals, only people from Melbourne and yanks drink Fosters. The beers of choice in Adelaide were Victoria Bitters and Coopers. Coopers had about four varieties; I drank Coopers Brown Ale, which was very good. However, Adelaide is in the middle of OZ wine country (Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale), so I was also educated in wine drinking. I know I practiced a lot with my Aussie mates. Side note: took me about three months to learn how to say "G'day" without everyone bursting into laughter.

VB ftw!

We teach our kids to be kind but not pushovers, respect their elders, be good guests, but sometimes we as parents need to draw the line and say this person/family doesn’t share our values and we’re not going to spend time with them anymore.

Today was one of those days.

Dropped my daughter off for a playdate and when I came back outside from talking to the other dad, I found my jeep like this.

Blatant vandalism.

I took out my Jeep in the snow/slush today. It is slicker than snot on the roads. I left it in 2WD to see how it handles. I had a single accidental lane change and that's it. I just wanted to see how it would react in those conditions and how I could recover it. It was slipping and sliding a bit but that lane change was the only major incident. Then, I got into the parking lot of the gym and had to do some donuts.

I did engage 4WD in a few spots and my Savvy shifter cable is so damn nice.

Waxed it, which it needed desperately. Also tweaked my adjustment to the spare carrier by adding some lock washers to the nuts that I had installed previously as the tension on the latch was still higher than I was comfortable with. Now it feels about the same as it did with stock tires.

Had the parts forever! Never had the time, so I went to a shop in town for $550. All the jeep dealers wanted $1200-1500!! I couldnt believe it! They all confirmed no dropping of the engine or tranny. Id hate to hear how much if they did.

That's still kinda highway robbery imho.

Me (97 sport) and my son (01 sahara) went to Southington Offroad Park in Ohio yesterday. temps got into the low 40s, no snow and SUNSHINE!! So it turned out to be a great day. Been wheeling on & off for 20 years and this is the first time with any major issues. We were playing on this giant rock pile and apparently I flexed so hard, my driver's rear spring popped out. Also, the bushings and linkage for the Tcase disintegrated or something, so it's not shiftable. Happily, I have the Savvy cable in my garage from @Peakbagger . The shock stopped the corner from bottoming the body on the tire and a "quick" disconnect of both driveshaft allowed me to hook it back up and tow her home (about 2 hours). This all happened in our last 15 minutes. All in all, a great day!!

I'm going to try to do it myself. I've done a bunch of other stuff on my own so I want to try this as well. I'm going to need an entire weekend to do it and I won't have a free weekend until around late April.
