I am cautiously optimistic about the tj stuff coming back out.
I’m pessimistic when the first thing new management does is “change” things. It automatically enervates the customer base that got them where they are.
Not sure how anyone can be optimistic when looking at those pics
Your optimism can be weighed heavily on knowing what Savvy is making this thing out of. It matters quite a bit.
Assuming this is 6061t6 and knowing what we know about the material and it's characteristics, does anyone care to pick apart Savvy's new low profile bumper?
Or are we going to be blindly optimistic fanboys?

I’m certainly no expert, but I think I’ve paid enough attention in my lurking on this forum to recognize pretty sharp bend radii for 6061t6
Once you understand this, it becomes pretty easy to identify.
It's also worth noting that welding takes away the heat treat. Meaning that anywhere a seam is welded is no longer has the resistance to abuse we might ask of it. Savvy could put these back through heat treat after fabrication, but would anyone pay for that cost?
And on that point, when compared to the original Savvy rear bumper, where exactly are the clearance gains in the low profile version? Specifically, where they exist, do they occur in a place where they are useful?

Probably not 6061 but it's basically a sleeve over a steel frame so maybe it's not as important in this application. The ends which are the most susceptible to damage are likely welded so it wouldn't make a difference anyway.
I didn't say this bumper in particular was something I was waiting for but the promise of more tj stuff or any in stock tj stuff.
I don't see why someone would pick this over swag or next venture, especially based on the information we have on this so far. They haven even laser etched a logo in it yet.

This is also worth exploring, specifically where weight is concerned. If this is a composite assembly, how much steel is in there? How much weight is being saved compared to a Next Venture or SWAG low profile bumper?

thats my biggest question, looks just like the swag bumper without a receiver hitch

What you see is what we have to look forward to if the TJ line is getting a refresh as Gerald has been promising recently.
Though maybe this Heritage TJ line he has mentioned will retain Blaine's original designs.
