Something is missing and I don't know what

I popped my hood today for a periodic check up and noticed that something looked off

it looks like a hose or maybe plug is missing

could someone let me know what is missing?

or just send a pic of what yours looks like

(for the record the jeep still runs perfectly fine)

Put a vacuum cap on it if you don’t have cruise or an obvious line- its hurtin ya -

Those fry from exhaust heat -

The OP profile indicates a '99 TJ and that vacuum connection is not for the CC; it's for the Evaporative Purge Control valve...
The Purge Control valve is located on the drivers fender; you will more than like find a hose dangling next to it.

It balances out the exhaust leak that makes it run rich
