What did you do to your TJ today?

I’ve never seen those a/c vent switch set up in person. Once they are installed, I’m assuming they are stationary and don’t pivot up and down?

You’re correct-Any movement would be bad for the electrical connections.

Tops off all summer on this rig any way

I tend to use the floor mode more for heat

And I’m not crazy about air blowing directly on me unless I’m extremely hot.

Looks like my 21 year old pump went bad with no warning. No pressure at the fuel rail either.

Mine had the check valve bullshit for 6 months before the pump finally quit on my way home. Was going 45 in 4th, and boom. Dead. 21 years of service.

Since then I have recommended that once the check valve goes bad, it's time to replace the likely OEM pump. I got lucky with the front 3 carriage bolts. PO welded new carriage bolts to the frame, so they couldn't spin out. Genius.

Started a project to add a 3rd seat in the rear. Seat is mounted, now just have to work on the harness and new storage arrangement.

We need to get a trail run together and go scratch the hell out of those.

I took a solid hit today while trying a harder line to Chivas Fall. The rocker stood strong as the Jeep kept crawling, which was great. The impact areas are partially covered by cow poop since I just got home.

Edit: It felt like a frame shot which makes more sense after taking a second look and seeing clean metal.

Haven’t seen the video an older friend took of the line, but here’s some shots of the lower falls…it was a good day. :)

Is there any way to tie them into the action of the factory hood light switch?

Edit: I see you don't have the factory hood light.

Yes there is, for sure@SamwiseGamJeep did-

I played with a little bit and I couldn’t seem to figure out the tie in and mine was crusty - plus I spend more time with the hood up and no light needed so I switched it- easy upgrade, rocklights and led strips are a dime a dozen these days too.

I woke up this morning to my wife saying there was water coming out of the shower handle. Long story short, the cartridge shit the bed and water ran between the walls for about 20 minutes before I could get it shut off. Insurance called, plumber called, water mitigation service called. We have the leak stopped and water restored to the rest of the house, plumber ordered parts and is planning on being back by in a few days to get the master bath shower fixed right.

Spent the afternoon puttering on the Jeep. I bought a set of "form over function" motobilt rocker guards in the classified section a couple of weeks ago. Figured working on installing them would be a good way to decompress from the plumbing crap.

Drilling holes, installing nutserts, all is going great, I'm enjoying myself.

Not paying enough attention, I drilled through the driver side footwell and right into the wiring loom running inside the tub there.

Some days you can't win for losing. I spliced the 6 wires I cut with the drill bit, put up all my tools and popped open a beer.

This day can go fuck itself.🤣
