That Jeep looks very nice well put together although there are a few parts manufacturers I have not heard of....
You did not mention the engine, but I am sure it is a 4.0L. What is the mileage ?
Do a thorough inspection of the frame rails inside and out looking for patches and rust.
What is the asking price converted from Dirham to the US $$ ?

yep! it's the 4.0L. it's done about 125,000 kms (77671.399 miles). He has rust-proofing done already but will do a further inspection irl. As for the price, he's asking around 8,168.38 USD. My main concern are the shocks on the car as I've read that people don't particularly like the RE shocks. If i were to buy the car what more would i need to do to it to make it fit my use case?

The price and mileage are great....
As for the shocks; you could upgrade to Rancho 5000s which are the go to shock on the forum unless you really want to spend on Fox reservoirs.

is there any major differences between the two? and is it worth upgrading for my use case?

There's only one thing in that list that I'd put on my rig, and it's the Dana 44 axle, but to each his own. You are in Dubai, so I have no idea how many TJ's are there and what your options are, but this is an example of why I prefer to buy stock or near stock rigs and build myself.

Do you see a lot of camels over there? I’m doing a survey for the forum database.

Not sure if this is some inside joke thing XD, but yes, especially when going deep in the desert. There's a running joke here that they were the first off-roaders, so people tend to give them a lot of respect when driving through the desert.

If the Jeep has a good frame and the driveline runs well, buy it and have fun!

Anything you may want to upgrade along the way is almost certainly a bolt on part.

I cannot imagine there are too many TJs running around over there. If you see any out and about, compare notes with them and see what’s working for their builds. Should be a lot of fun! It’s a great looking TJ!
