What did you do to your TJ today?

Next on the weekend to do list took a turn… was expecting that this would drop in… but too snug. thinking about some advanced tetras moves but it might just be a 4 1/2” moment…

Nice, please let me know what you do with the tweeters. I have similar speakers in the garage and been thinking about the best option for the tweeters at the dash and sound bar.

Double sided tape at the moment- playing with placement bouncing off the windshield is a close second to directly angle at me. But the mounting hardware I have can’t achieve the right angle. I might get a angle pod in the future.

Thank you. I’ve looked for some pods and haven’t found any. I’ve thought about drilling a hole and placing in the top of the dash or just above the speaker area. Would need to fine a way to keep them in place.

‘Drove over to Top Swap Texas in Katy, TX yesterday to get my new Bestop Trektop NX. That’s the one that makes a bikini top when you take out the windows & half door uppers. The top over the driver & passenger seats can also flip back to make a sunroof. I wanted to send some pics of it opened up & “naked”, but it’s supposed to rain for the next couple of days so I’ll send more pics when I can.
Nathan is a great guy & does good work. He sells & installs Bestop products. Check him out at topswaptexas.com

Installed my passenger side Buchanan Precision Machine 1 1/2” seat risers. They’re high quality and I love the result!

The drivers side torx bolt is stuck so I’m waiting on an impact torx t50 bit to get that sucker out and get the drivers side done. Should be a nice improvement!

I ordered these for my BLAM speakers (still to be installed).

Vendor mentioned other options for other tweeter sizes when I was looking around.

I plan to drill a hole in the pillar plastic to mount them.

Installed these within months of getting my (used) '05. Great add-on!

I installed mine in the dash cover. They look good, and sound great. The sound bounces off the windshield and really brings the sound stage up.
Just used a hole-saw and some hot glue to mount them.

The 503cf come with the mounting hardware you see- the one in my fingers has the threaded nut so you can drill down from the top -set that holder in- use the backing nut from the underside to secure.
