And all that traveling you didn't stop to eat at all????

We ate but nothing special…. However my daughter has found a place for lunch today and dinner tonight will be worth a photo… hang tight 😁👍

Not my TJ but Dave’s. We did go north two weeks ago and pick up that Rubicrawler so it’s going in Dave’s rig.

Here’s a shot of it assembled on the bench and one of it under the jeep.

Pulling the tail shaft was the hardest part but it came. Two new cables from AA and it seems like the rest will be straight forward.

Dave will have it done tomorrow I’m sure.

Always fun in the shop working on an upgrade not just a repair.

Today, instead of taking a nice drive along the OC coast to find some lunch, we turned around and limped home w/ a P0306 (#6 misfire) code.
Light was solid & flashing.
Pulled the plugs, no outliers other than the gap being closer to 0.045 than 0.04. #6 was not soaked, so that suggests no fuel.
I put in new plugs since these have maybe 30-40K on them.
No change... still ran like crap. Confirming my previous fuel concerns.

I don't own (and don't want to own) fuel line tools.

I think this one is headed to a shop for a more accurate assessment & repair.

After install and break in of the BMB brakes I figured I would double check the alignment as I always find alignment is never right the 1st time after knuckle and tie rod removal. All squared away now. Centered the steering wheel and she’s ready to roll.
I went ahead and “over greased” the tie rods one last time. 🫣
The wizard was nice enough to flip the tie rod for me on the knuckle before sending them out.
