for sometime now, I’ve had a clunk that only manifest itself when I’m turning right on uneven ground stop. I’ve meticulously gone through all the threads here on clunks and I’ve checked everything as per the suggestions i.e. bushings, control, arms, etc. today I realized that when I put my hands on the 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock position on the wheels with them being jacked off the ground too much play in and out the same if I do at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock. So it would appear that that’s the cause of my clunk and I’m wondering if I need a new axle assembly or just the bearings I’d really appreciate your insight. I haven’t got a shot press so would I still be able to do this or is there such a thing as a fully assembled assembly or any other ideas? Thanks as always folks.
