I tried one of those recently. The first couple drinks it didn’t seem good but it got better after that. Still don’t think it was somerhing I could drink very often.

Very very sweet though even for my sweet tooth.
I have not updated this in a few weeks. Now we have a roof, foam and wire for stucco, and blown insulation ready for some T1-11 siding on the walls and some sheetrock ceilings. The foam insulation is about 9-10" thick under the roof and 6" (well actually 5 1/2") in the exterior walls. That should help me cool and heat this shop.
Put new front pads & rotors on the JKU. Before I even finshed the first side, my piston compressor broke. So, I had to close up the garage and head out to buy a new one, along with a big c-clamp just in case. Ended up glad I bought the c-clamp, as I used it instead of the $50 (on sale) Icon kit.
Once it was all said and done, the Jeep still needs work. Just ordered Mopar brake hoses off of Rock Auto for half or less what everyone else wanted for literally any other brand. They'll be here Wednesday.

I had Walmart install tires on this thing, and they lived up to my expectations (we won't even discuss the argument I had with the tech about whether or not these tires would fit--even though the exact tires were what they were going to be replacing--or what vehicle I actually drove into the shop). 45psi in the tires, and this ridiculous balancing job. It's already trying to throw a couple of the weights, so I'm going to have my buddy rebalance them. This marked the first time in 10yrs I've stepped foot in or gave money to Walmart. It also marked the last.

I had a walmart tire jockey strip all my lugnuts once with the wrong socket after i told him exactly which one to use. His reply was that they couldn't fire a slave they'd have to sell him. I never went back,it's been 30 years
I have a high end cabinet shop down the street from my shop. I drive past it every day on the way to my shop and when they put out their dumpster I do some diving. Their scrap is gold to me and I get some nice size pieces of 5-8 ply plywood, HDF and hardwood that I use for projects around the shop. I just made 2 small boxes to replace some cardboard boxes I use to store my various trailer related doodads. Not fine craftsmanship but they’ll do the job. Next step is to put on a coat of paint.

No one around me has any in stock, everywhere except quadratec was going to cost me $30+ to buy and ship 4 washers with standard shipping. I know Summit would have them here in the morning, but I'm not paying that much.
For $17 shipped (with my first responder/Govx discount), I have 4 on the way from quadratec. I'm hoping they get here tomorrow or the next day, but i don't have much faith in quadratec, even with them being so close. My last several encounters with them have been less than stellar.

You can reuse copper washers. Just anneal them. Put your copper washers on a piece of coat hanger, heat them up cherry read with your propane torch and drop them in a cup of water.
I've never personally done that, but read where people said the same thing. My concern is, I didn't want to take everything apart and find the washers in a condition they're not usable and get stuck waiting with the jeep taking up garage space.
Well, as expected, Quadratec is at least consistent with their lying and trash service. When I ordered yesterday, it told me the washers would ship the same day if I ordered within so many hours. As of right now, they don't even have a shipping label/tracking number. It really sucks that one of the biggest suppliers of jeep parts has devolved into what they are today. From now on, I'll only order from them if I have no other option, and will gladly pay more money to avoid doing business with them.
I know this particular instance is a small issue, but I don't ask a lot. Only that you do what you say you're going to do and be truthful --for better or worse.
I'm with you and I understand, but you have unknowingly contradicted yourself. Unfortunately, it would seem, that is asking a lot these days...

Order copper washers from Amazon. I got a couple assorted boxes or different sizes. Never going to run out.

I've ordered from them twice, and that's what happened both times. Neither time was the order critical path, so I'll only order from them when I don't care how long it takes - because its gonna take some time...
Wife took the girls back to school shopping, I got to organize my tools. win-win for everyone
Who the Hell organizes combination wrenches like that? Shit, you'd actually be able to find the one you need instead of digging through a pile of them, no more than two from any one brand/line, before realizing the one you need is actually already near where you're working.
As a side note, I hate when wrench sets come missing sizes...looking at you Gearwrench!
