I got a pair almost identical to those with an assorted hog ring and plier set I purchased when I did my Summit seat foam. Literally child-sized.
Finally got around to testing out new smoke machine on my other vehicle today. Short story, it works. 
Pretty easy to use, I used one of the fuel filler plates and plugged the vent line on the leak detection pump. I could actually hear it pressurizing the fuel tank (even given the low pressure setting) and it wasn't long until I had smoke leaking from the detection pump itself (and nowhere else).
What really pisses me off is, two years ago I had the same code just before emissions testing and took it to a shop down the street for reasons of time. They claimed they could not find any leaks by smoking it and clearly had made the decision just to throw parts at it, because that's how you do things as "professional mechanics". As well. they obviously lost one of the constant tension clamps on the vent line and didn't bother to replace it...AND they used a damn impact toreinstall hammer on the wheel lugs (pump is in passenger rear wheelwell), yet told me they always torque them. Fucking hacks.
This is the same outfit that kept my LJ overnight, without my permission, because they didn't finish the Maryland mech/safety inspection before quitting time (the inspection does not take a whole day to do). I even called them at 4:15pm that day and was told the vehicle would be done, but after 5pm, and they'd call when it was done. No call, no nothing. WTF...and this is a family run business, they make a big deal of that and their Christian values. I'm calling bullshit.
If I was a lesser human, I'd fill a padded mailer envelope with fresh dog shit and deposit it in their key drop. At the least.

I think at least 4-5 members have purchased this very smoker now, with no one having issue yet, as far as I'm aware. Sure beats reading Amz reviews...
Good to hear. I almost tried mine out today too, but spent time stapling up insulation, tuning the carb on the leaf blower, general cleanup around the garage, and otherwise being lazy. The only thing I didn't check after use was how much oil was consumed. My kit came with three oil packs, they claim 120 minutes runtime per with a maximum fill of one pack.
A friend of mine works at a shop nearby and they charge $125 just to hook up their smoke machine. They tell everyone it's because the smoke fluid is so expensive (the mechanics actually believe this, it's what the owner told them). I'm sure it's probably pricey on the tool truck, but prices on Amazon seem decent.
Another buddy of mine has been talking about buying one of these and said "why don't we just go in on it together and save money?" Then proceeded to talk about how he could just buy baby oil to use in it instead of smoke fluid. I know some people do that, but i won't be one of them. I'll pony up the few extra bucks for smoke fluid. And he can buy his own smoke tester.
I'm sure that shop visit cost me at least this much, probably a bit more. MD is proud of the fact that everything's more expensive, it seems.
Given that it came with three 120 (alleged) minute oil packs, I would imagine most of us would be good for a while...unless maybe having many leaks to hunt down. But, looking at the prices for oil from the company that makes that little smoker, I'll go for the proper stuff as well. One of those bottles is supposed to be good for 800 minutes and the cheaper four pack should be good for 480...probably more smoking than any of us will do.
Its generally better to avoid going halfsies on pretty much anything. A late friend of mine used to talk about going in halfsies on a vehicle 'cause he did it once. "Going halfsies on a vehicle is like going halfsies on a woman. Whenever you want to use her, she either already being used, or she's fucked up, or the other guy didn't clean her up after use and left her dirty." Pretty much applies to just about everything when you think about it...

Absolutely. And I'm very particular about my tools and my vehicles. Sometimes I would let close friends borrow stuff, but these days, it only happens if I can afford to be without it for a while and they can afford to replace it (if they break it) . And the first time I have to go looking for my tool is the last time you get to borrow any of them.
I also usually buy nicer/more expensive tools than most of my friends. They run their mouth about it until they need to borrow one. But then they want to treat my expensive tools like they do their cheap ones. That doesn't work for me either. So I've just taken the stance that I'll buy mine, you buy yours, and if you need something I have, you can use it when I bring it to you and I stay with the tool.
Kind of new tool-ish, kind of thing done in the garage/shop-ish. Purchased yet more packout bins (should've snagged two more, as it were) and also grabbed the rolling dolly for the garage.
All of these bins were taking up shelf space until around 1pm this afternoon. Plus it makes sense for these to be mobile, not only because my garage is small but most of what's in these gets used frequently. PPE, buffing and polish, sanding and abrasives, and one holding numerous bagged tools (elec. testing, elec pin/plug tools, drill bits, plastic pry tools, etc.).

My haul from the HF PLS early access this morning. The only thing I really didn't need was the magnet tray.
Tip: If your welder doesn't fit into the 'tray' part of the top of the cart, you can flip it over and drill the it as a shelf and use bolts & nuts through the bottom of your welder.
I had to do this with my Miller 211 that was about 1/2"-1" too wide to fit. Now it sits/fits great, and I can grab the welder handle and/or sides and move the cart, rather than grabbing lower onto the cart itself.

Nice, I’m planning on putting it together today. I’ve got one of the small titanium flux core welders, I like the idea of fixing it to the cart. Definitely gonna try this.
Well.... This was an unplanned NTD. Went to start on the oil cooler job on the JK and decided to make sure everything was in the jeep (dad loaded all the supplies and supposedly my in lbs torque wrench and drove it to my house) before I took anything apart. It was a good thing I checked because the torque wrench was nowhere to be seen. He found it when I called him, but he lives 1.5hrs away, and turns out it had been stored while set to 230in lbs for the last 15yrs or so

So, I ran to HF and grabbed this for 35% off. Seems decent, and will be good enough for this job until I upgrade to the Icon version at some point. For $120, I'm satisfied (provided it works as it should).

I bought a 1/4” drive micrometer-type torque wrench from Tekton for some electrical work a while back. I was so pleased with it that I bought the 3/8” drive and would have bought the 1/2” drive if I did not already have one of another brand. They are really nice but not too expensive, are marked in both N•m and lb•ft, ratchet in both directions, and have a nice tactile click when you reach the set torque.
