Hello gentlemen/ladies. I'm new here so forgive me if this has been discussed.

The high pitched sound comes and goes, but once it starts it usually stays while driving. It sounds like a plastic part and only squeaks over bumps. Note that I own a RHD 2006 Sahara, if that makes a difference.

Anyone have this and/or fixed it?

I'd take the glove box out and inspect. Your guess is as good as ours!

I've never had that problem but would probably consider lubing the lock on the glovebox.
Also maybe give the contact areas around the glovebox a little love with Armorall or something that would lube those areas.

Btw, welcome to the forum and good luck!

Are you sure it's the glove box area? The seat bushings are notorious for making squeaking noises. Before I replaced the bushings on mine, I would drive with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand applying pressure to the passengers seat to make that annoying noise stop.
