Squeaky noise when moving forward. Sometimes fades off at higher speed (or we just can't hear it) I have a video clip of the noise but file is too big to post here. Link is below. The squeaking starts when he starts driving back up the driveway. Brakes? Ujoint? Never heard anything like this.

There is a flange behind the brake discs on some models that gets bent... That is the first place to start

Then you can go slow and see if the emergency brake lever will stop the noise if so it’s coming from your parking brake and also you can tap the brake pedal and if it stops you’re getting some movement in the pads or caliper

I’m sort of a generalist and I’m not a brake expert but seems like I can tear stuff up pretty good -

We have one guy named Blaine who has just exceptional diagnostic skills and deep knowledge especially with brakes

Thanks for the helpful info - will definitely look into the possible brake issues. We did have problems with the e-brake when we first got it. It didn't work at all - the cable was in a bind. Maybe that is messed up again.

centering ball in double cardan joint of rear driveshaft? has happened to me...

Update... It only squeaks when accelerating forward, not when rolling. Doesn't do it in reverse right now. But my son said it made the noise in reverse off and on last week, and not going forward. It stops squeaking when I let off the gas. If I let the clutch out slowly in 1st without giving it gas it squeaks as it starts moving. Then rolls quietly until I accelerate.

Update II: on Jack stands, not in gear, with e-brake engaged... we can make the exact same squeaking sound by trying to turn the right rear tire. It is something with the wheel or brakes. Driver side does not make noise. Video linked. (You can't see him, but someone is standing on the other side wiggling the tire)

Check your e-brake shoes. mine had a weird click only when going slow couldn't hear it when going fast but knew it was coming from the driver side rear. pulled the rotor and both e brake shoes pads had came loose.
