Has Milwaukee changed? I've warrantied at least 10 batteries through their e-service and the only time they were denied was due to being too old. I've never provided a single purchase receipt, nor told them where they came from. If purchase from an authorized dealer was a requirement for warranty coverage, 90% of my stuff would not have one.

Of course it's been well over a year since I tried to get a claim the first time and was told no, so I'll lose all that time and if they offer me anything it will likely be 5 months credit toward a new on at list price.
I don't know what CX is. All I have ever used is the e-service on the Milwaukee website. It costs nothing to use it except a box and packaging, they send the shipping label over so you can print, stick, and go. I have mail pick up here so it costs me very little to get it done since I throw away about 50 boxes a week.
Price wise yes, but I don't know about hardness since I don't have a Rockwell tester.
There is a major misconception (not surprising) that companies sell their product to unauthorized dealers. That simply is not even the tiniest bit true. We were authorized dealers for Centric. Centric sent us a "do not sell" list every month for companies who we should not sell to. Amazon and Rock Auto were always on it. Both of them consistently sold below our cost. The parts didn't come from us, they didn't come from Centric, so who was doing it? Like all things in business, there are a lot of unscrupulous 2nd and 3rd party sellers who only care about volume and could not care less who they sold to. Amazon and Rock Auto aren't going to rat them out, they aren't going to rat out Amazon and Rock Auto, so how do you stop it?
I wonder how much stuff I've bought from rock auto that's fake
One thing I do is price match rock auto to summit, that way I can buy from summit for rock auto prices.
Maybe there is hope, I did a little Googling, see first pic. Next I asked AI about my battery, and even though at first it said out of warranty, in the same breath it also said 5 months of warranty are left
